Student Foundation’s Executive Members
The Student Foundation Executive Committee guides the direction of the Student Foundation and SMU’s traditional programming. Each Executive member leads a team of Board members and assists in planning and executing SF’s four traditional events. The Executive Committee aims to create lifelong memories for the SMU campus community by having a role in each event.
PRESIDENT | Peter Harris
Peter is a junior from Mesquite, Texas, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Advertising. He has been involved with Student Foundation since his first semester at SMU and has loved every second of it!
Before serving as President, Peter was the Tate Lecture Series Chair in 2024, for which he received the O. Paul Corley Leadership Award. Prior to that, he served as the Marketing Manager for the Tate Lecture Series Committee in 2023.
Peter is currently a Peer Counselor for the Rotunda Scholars Program, an Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity member, Creative Director for the Housing Unification Board, and a student worker for SMU Development and External Affairs.
In his free time, Peter enjoys going to SoulCycle, running on the Katy Trail, and expanding his ever-growing sneaker collection!
VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMMING | Elise Waterson
Elise Waterston is a junior from Dallas, Texas. She is studying Advertising with a specialization in Digital Media Strategy and Public Relations. She previously served as Campus Events Chair for the 2024 school year!
In addition to her role as VPP, Elise serves as House Manager for Chi Omega and a Community Ambassador for the SMU Office of Community Engagement.
In her free time, Elise enjoys going on runs, watching Suits, and is always down for a White Rock Coffee run!
VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMMING | Jaden COx
Jaden Cox is a junior from Long Beach, California. She is double majoring in Operations Research Engineering Management and Data Science. She previously served as the 2024 Development Chair and the 2023 Activities Coordinator for the Campus Events Committee.
In addition to serving as the 2025 Vice President of Programming, Jaden is also the Treasurer for Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society and a member of Delta Gamma.
Jaden loves going to workout classes, running on the Katy Trail, trying new restaurants around Dallas, and playing New York Times word games in her free time!
VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMMING | Tatum Morris
Tatum Morris is a junior from Tampa, Florida, majoring in Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management, and Markets and Culture. She previously served as Family Weekend Chair for the 2024 calendar year.
In addition to her role as Vice President of Programing, Tatum serves as Student Body Secretary and Director of the House of Representatives for Student Senate, and is a member of Chi Omega and the SMU Student Union.
In her free time, Tatum enjoys workout classes, walks with friends, and spending time with her dog, Ruby.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE | Lindsay Kayser
Lindsay Kayser is a junior from Austin, Texas, majoring in Real Estate Finance with a specialization in Entrepreneurship.
She previously served as the Vice Finance Chair during the last calendar year. Additionally, Lindsay is a member of Chi Omega, Mustangs for Hope, and the Real Estate Club.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking and going on walks!
