Family Weekend FAQ’s

WHERE CAN I PARK ON FRIDAY?

Parking is available for free in the parking garages on campus, including Airline Garage at Airline Rd. and Daniel Ave, Moody Garage on the corner of SMU Blvd. and Airline Rd, or Binkley Garage on the corner of Airline Rd. and Binkley Ave.  Handicapped accessible parking is also available.

WHERE CAN I PARK ON SATURDAY?

SHARED RIDES: We encourage using shared ride services, as campus parking is limited.
Ride-share drop-off and pick-up is at the Mustang Statue, 3101 Binkley Ave, Dallas TX 75206, 32.8410181, -96.781844

SMU EXPRESS SHUTTLES: Our SMU Express shuttles are free to the public and can be used to access east campus parking options like W4, W5, W6, and W7 for any need overflow and to help move folks around campus too. SMU Express Shuttles

Who can attend family weekend?

Anyone and everyone is welcome to SMU’s Family Weekend! Parents, grandparents, friends, siblings, aunts, uncles - the more, the merrier.

WHAT REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED?

Refreshments at Night on the Lawn will be ice cream sandwiches and a cash bar!
Refreshments at Hilltop Welcome will be hors d'oeuvres, coffee, tea, and lemonade!

WILL THERE BE A TENT?

If you have any further questions about a game day tent or the opportunity to participate in SMU’s traditional Boulevard, feel free to contact SMU’s Mothers and Dads Club!
