2025 Celebration of Lights Alumni Village

Join us for one of SMU's most beloved annual traditions and ring in the holiday season with the Mustang family. Celebration of Lights brings together the entire SMU community on Dallas Hall Lawn for an evening of carols, thousands of twinkling lights, and the lighting of SMU's tree.

Make sure to arrive early this year as Bishop Boulevard will be transformed into a holiday wonderland highlighted by the Holiday Market showcasing both alumni and local vendors offering one-of-a-kind gifts and treats.

5 - 10 PM | Celebration of Lights Holiday Market
Join other Mustangs for a complimentary event featuring food and beverages, holiday music, Build-a-Peruna, and more.
Note: the Holiday Market will close from 7-8 for the tree lighting.

7 - 8 PM | Ceremony and Tree Lighting
Carols and music performed by SMU students.

8 - 10 PM | Holiday Festivities and Activities
Reindeer straight from the North Pole, hot cocoa, and festive treats.
