A NOTE FROM THE FAMILY WEEKEND CHAIR
On this SMU Family Weekend website you will find all of the necessary information regarding the weekend schedule, event registration, football tickets and more. This year's Family Weekend will use electronic tickets to streamline your experience so you can spend even more time with your family. You don't want to miss out on the events we have planned!
This year we are excited to announce that as a part of SMU Family Weekend, we will support the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, an organization that helps families in need in the community. The Family Weekend Committee is partnering with local restaurants and stores to hold profit sharing events. Please visit the "SMU Gives Back" page (button below) to see a list of popular Dallas restaurants and shops which have chosen to partner with our mission. Throughout Family Weekend you can visit these places to eat and shop, and by mentioning you're with SMU, part of your purchase will directly benefit Ronald McDonald House of Dallas!
Families traveling from out of town for Family Weekend may want to arrive on Thursday, September 21, as the weekend kicks-off on the morning of Friday, September 22, with Meet the Faculty events, Study Abroad Meetings, our Family Luncheon, and more. Our schedule can be found on this website, and it will be updated with any changes as we get closer to the weekend.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Hilltop on the weekend of September 22-24, 2017 for "Wild About SMU!"
