FAMILY WEEKEND 2018
A ROARIN' GOOD TIME
September 28-29, 2018
A NOTE FROM THE FAMILY WEEKEND CHAIR
On this SMU Family Weekend website you will find all of the necessary information regarding the weekend schedule, event registration, football tickets, and more. This year's Family Weekend will use electronic tickets to streamline your experience so that you can spend even more time with your family. You don't want to miss out on the events that we have planned!
This year we are excited to announce that as a part of SMU Family Weekend, we will again support the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, an organization that helps families in need in the community. The Family Weekend Committee is partnering with local restaurants, fitness studios, and many more to put together a coupon book full of exclusive discounts and giveaways. These are available for purchase as a part of your registration and all of the proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. Also, please visit the "SMU Gives Back" page (button below) for more information. Throughout Family Weekend you can visit the places that have chosen to partner with us on our mission and as you utilize your coupons know that while exploring all that Dallas has to offer you are also making a difference.
Families traveling from out of town for Family Weekend may want to arrive on Thursday, September 27, as the weekend kicks-off on the morning of Friday, September 28, with Meet the Faculty events, Study Abroad Meetings, our Family Weekend Luncheon, and more. Our schedule can be found on this website, and it will be updated with any changes as we get closer to the weekend.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Hilltop on the weekend of September 28-30, 2018 for “A Roarin’ Good Time!”
